Now the knots are the same for necklaces, chokers, bracelets and ankles. The only difference between a necklace and a bracelet is the length of the cord to be used. Of course, you will use longer cords for a necklace than you would for a bracelet, choke or anklet.

For a necklace or choker, you need 3 strands about 128 inches in length and 1 string that is 32 inches long.

For a herringbone strap or ankle, you need 3 strings about 64 inches in length and 1 string that is 32 inches long.

You should have 7 wires hanging loose under your knot.

# 3. Take two of the knotted wires and tie a square knot. Turn the square knot so that it wraps around all other cords. Let these cords hang out to the side. This is your first set of knot wires.

# 4. Choose another two tie bands and tie a square knot. Turn it around the remaining cables. Exclude your first set of knot lines keep them away to the side. When finished, this knot leaves these wires to the side as well. This will be your second set of knot wires.

# 5. Take the third set of strings and tie a square knot. Only the middle string should be left in the middle now. These knotted wires will be your third set of knotted wires.

# 6. Take your first set of knotted wires and take it down under the knots you just created with your third set of knot wires. Turn a square knot with the first set of knotted wires. Leave the cord slightly loose to form a circle.

# 7. Keep repeating step # 6 with the first, second, and third set of knot lines. Create a series of circles that resemble a fish's rib cage. The name fishbone macrame design.

# 8. When you get to the desired length, throw it with an overhand knob to prevent your macronuts from returning.

# 9. The strings that are left can be used to tie the necklace, bracelet, choke or ankle as you did the closed wire loop as you did at the beginning.
